In Motion’s strategy 2025 eCommerce was identified as one of the key strategic initiatives that the business needs to get right in order to be ready for the future.

The eCommerce organization is responsible for the creation of a granular blueprint strategy and its implementation in MO.

The eCSIS is a key member of the eCommerce team responsible to drive specific workstreams the organization and support the way we enable our customers and partners to search, decide and configure our products and way we enable our customers and partners to buy from us The eCSIS will

  • Short term : build a deep understanding on the eCommerce potential and requirements for MO and come up with a suitable set options and recommendations to capture the opportunities
  • Midterm. Develop MO eCommerce vision and matching blueprint to set the long-term eCommerce direction
  • Midterm to long term : Implement the blueprint supporting the reginal and central teams while helping to eliminate road blocks and support decision making.
  • Your responsibilitiesAssist in the development of innovative strategic and analytic eCommerce frameworks that may pertain to a specific market, business or competitive analyses to create a culture of new idea generationDevelop work plans to execute analyses laid out in such frameworks (including project timelines, data requirements, specific steps)Lead mid-size business strategy projects with support from Business Lines, Functions and Countries which would include : 1) establishing and scoping eCommerce projects including coordinating team set up;
  • 2) define milestones and deliverables through a detailed project plan; and 3) communicating with MO and Divisional leadership regarding regular milestone completionOversees the : 1) collection and analysis of information and data to develop / evaluate potential growth opportunities and, 2) financial modelling (e.

    g. cost / profitability) and competitive analyses (product, business, financial performance, market positioning, etc.) Formulate output derived from projects into concise and articulate presentations to senior managementLead innovation workshops with middle management and local units to support creation and implementation of eCommerce blueprintOrganize and synthesize facts into clear analyses to provide impactful insights for eCommerce initiativesLead and / or support implementation of eCommerce strategic workstreams in countries and functions acting as a thought partner to business and regional management on eCommerce issues which will involve routinely identifying areas of interest that may have a long-term impact on the business and evaluating the possible impact and strategic alternatives for ABBProject manage, including planning, governance, reporting, issue resolution, reporting, of his / her specific workstreams and for the entire projectYour backgroundBachelor / Master or equivalent in Marketing, Strategy with a technical understandingStrong business background with knowledge of eCommerce B2B industry markets with multi-channel approach3-5 years of consulting project management experienceChange management of complex transformative projectsProfessional English LevelWillingness to travelMore about us Bring your very own sense of pride and purpose as you help us drive forward the Fourth Industrial Revolution creating a sustainable future for our planet, and your career.
