Support and maintenance of software development lifecycle tools (build, deployment, release and other services)
Integrations between the SDLC tools
Services and systems design
Planning and implementing changes to the software configurations and installations
Technology optimisations, performance tuning and process improvements
Helping development teams get the best value of the available tools and providing guidance to the teams on the best use of the tools
Document systems architectures and commissioned servers / services
Continuous Delivery efficiency reporting
Skills and Requirements
BSc or MSc (in computer engineering or technical) from educational institution is highly desirable
Good understanding of software application lifecycle, deployment and releases management tools (Spinnaker experience is desirable)
Advanced knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems and modern approaches to systems management (Ansible, Puppet or similar)
Advanced knowledge of web services
Programming experience required (Python, Bash or similar)
Experience in build automation and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle and other Java ecosystem tools)
Working experience with AWS or other cloud providers, good understanding of cloud architectures
Good written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation skills. Ability to communicate among technical and non-technical employees, and process orientation skills
A collaborative approach to problem-solving
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
Effective time management skills; able to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment
Well-organised and disciplined with regards to policy, procedure and standards
Ability to report and work accurately and according to agreed timeframes
Ability to identify problems and apply creative solutions
