Staff responsibilities :

Based in Madrid and reporting to an Associate or Partner, you will benefit from the bespoke training and expertise they can offer, while having the chance to build your career in investment transactional work - including cash flow analysis, report work, assisting on and responsible for the creation of sales documents, assisting on brokerage and pitches.

Clients are diverse from Spanish to International and range from institutional funds, property companies, banks, private capital and occupiers.

Key interfaces :

Build relationships within the national Spanish CMG team, with colleagues in our other service lines in both Barcelona and Madrid and, to a lesser extent, other members of the EMEA CMG teams.

Core Objective :

Play an important part in the strategic growth of this successful team and work as part of the team. Assist the team in the execution of CMG instructions including financial advice, acquisition and disposal work.

Develop professionally to take more responsibility over time and greater client contact.

Principal responsibilities :

  • Excel cashflow work and analysis
  • Assist on existing CMG mandates
  • Assist / Prepare CMG reports for purchases or Sale Documents on commercial retail property across Spain
  • Work closely with other team members to support on group instructions
  • Take day-to-date responsibility for timely execution of tasks designated by team managers
  • Depending on level of experience and development to start working face to face with clients
  • Business Development :

  • Develop analytical skills using in-house C&W Excel cash flow models
  • Develop commercial acumen relevant to our specific property market subsectors and the overall economy / wider relevant markets
  • Develop a profile in the marketplace through building key client relationships
  • Qualities and Personal attributes :


  • Strong analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and information
  • Able to build colleague and client relationships (good team work ability and also be able to concentrate on own deliverables)
  • Have a commercial approach but detailed and organized
  • Competent in all MS Office Applications
  • Very high level required in Excel modelling and able to quickly learn / adapt to our in-house property level cash flow and residual models
  • Very Good report writing skills
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Educated to degree level preferably in a relevant vocational area or business / economic / finance related areas
  • Full driving license
  • Ideal

  • Previous experience in property
  • MRICS qualification or plans to qualify
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) or English speaking with good level of Spanish.
