This is an exciting opportunity in a newly created role as we seek to develop and strengthen our purchasing process and strategy.

The position aims to ensure all areas of the organisation are safeguarded and will require initial evaluation of current practices, ensuring that the overall framework, controls, policies and procedures are set up effectively.

Subsequently and on an ongoing basis your objective will be to install any necessary changes and to implement all initiatives and best practices to assure procedures are aligned with the organisation’s objectives and to implement throughout the group.

The Procurement Manager will both lead and work alongside the existing Procurement team acting as a mentor and ensuring the growth and development of the department.

We are looking for a candidate that has proven that they are a capable, thoughtful, and selfless leader. They will also have a track record of working collaboratively across teams to deliver on complex projects.


  • Undertake a review and analysis of current practices and implement any required changes to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
  • To work closely with all teams to create the most effective sourcing strategy, supplier negotiation and user-friendly purchasing process.
  • Manage and develop a team of two purchasing officers, upskilling and supporting them in their day to day role.
  • Develop key relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Oversee vendor selection purchasing processes and actively participate in purchasing negotiations.
  • Provide organisation wide staff education and awareness training on new policies.
  • Develop KPIs and compliance monitoring : implement monitoring activities to measure the performance of the procurement activities, cost savings and other reporting and KPIs.

  • Requisitos

  • 10 years’ experience working in a global organisation in a business or accounting environment with at least 5 years’ experience in purchasing at an international level.
  • Experience working within an engineering or technical environment is desirable.
  • Leadership skills, with experience managing a team
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent spoken and written English language; Spanish is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
