Be responsible for the end to end optimisation of your area’s process.
Be a key player in the implementation of BPA (Business Process Automation) tools.
Increase integration with vendors by using all available methods (EDI, APIs ).
Be the go-to person for your area’s processes and the key contact between business and IT.
Bid Support team provides a key service to Tech Data’s pricing model, by ensuring that all Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs) offered by vendors are correctly registered in SAP after checking completeness of the supporting documentation.
Once entered in SAP, those agreements will either allow Procurement team to place purchase orders at the correct discounted price (upfront discounts), or the Vendor Receivables team to claim the discount as a rebate once the products have been sold (back-end discounts).
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
Re-engineer, optimise and strengthen the business processes.
Identify best practices, improvements and develop solutions to critical business issues.
Undertake productivity Initiatives and ensure the business operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as needed.
Implementation of BPA (Business Process Automation) tools
Identify automation opportunities.
Prepare requirements for the developers.
Test thoroughly new tools to make sure that they will function correctly.
Document the use of the new tools.
Train Operations to the use of the new tools.
Increase integration with vendors
Be the key point of communication with vendors regarding Special Pricing Agreements.
Build lasting relationships with vendors Operational & Technical teams.
Be the SME for integration of vendors solutions related to SPA (Special Price Agreement) or CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).
Provide expert knowledge of TechData systems limits and work hand in hand with internal IT teams (SAP / BW / EDI) to build new solutions.
In partnership with Vendors, work on solutions that will increase the quality of the Special Price Agreements exchanges (dematerialisation, automation, processes ).
Create and maintain high quality documentation, to be used both to train Operations users and as a reference in their day to day work.
Maintain highly detailed Business requirements and release notes related to deployed enhancements.
Produce Management reporting and define productivity KPIs.
Support to the business
Give support to the business with the processes implemented, as the main contact between business and its main stakeholders (IT & Finance teams, customers, etc.)

Knowledge and Background
Advanced level of English
Over 2 years of functional experience in related discipline
Advanced user in Excel and SAP
Knowledge of standard methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma is a plus
Other languages are a plus
Ability to create complex and large process documentation
