Job Purpose :
To manage demand / supply planning activities & procurement operations for specific Business Unit (EASS) in order to deliver high product availability, optimum inventory, maximum profitability and operational excellence.
Maintain postitive and productive relations with both local and central vendors.
Responsibilities :
Provide leadership to the team in order to maximise individual and team performance
Manage and maintain positive and productive stakeholder relationships across all relevant European Countries
Provision of regular management information to internal stakeholders as required, with responsibility for data integrity
Manage the resolution of risk inventory working together with Tech Data subsidiaries in an optimal way
Direct accountability for key metrics of specific vendor set which includes (but is not exclusive to) availability, DOS, inventory costs and LIFR
Review business unit quarterly plans with the relevant Business Development Director and ensure achievement of Company targets
Own and manage through to completion any hoc projects as defined by the business
Knowledge Skills and Experience :
Strong inventory management & planning skills with ability to utilise processes and tools to maximum effect
Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels
SAP R / 3 4.6c (or higher) MM PUR, MRP and Microsoft Office skills are essential
Ability to express complicated and involved information in a concise and articulate manner
Proven presentation skills
Leadership, team building and coaching abilities
Experience within a Supply Chain environment ideally in a high tech, high value international environment
Experience of using a demand planning tools
