Groupon’s Merchant Support department is responsible for maintaining relationships with small- and medium-sized local businesses that we partner with.
From preparing new Groupon merchants for their first Groupon feature to helping them manage the day-to-day operations of a Groupon campaign to growing those portfolios, Merchant Support works across the entire lifecycle of Groupon campaigns to make sure our merchants have the best experiences and results possible.
Merchant Support Representatives are at the heart of Groupon's partnership with our local merchants. By troubleshooting merchant issues and liaising with multiple internal teams to improve the merchant experience, Merchant Support Reps work every day to put local business owners first.

You’ll spend time on the following :
You will resolve merchant issues submitted via multiple channels in alignment with current procedures and according to set time standards
You will partner closely with teammates from other departments in order to provide the best merchant and customer service experience possible
You will act as a liaison with Sales, Customer Service, Editorial and Finance to address any cross-departmental issues impacting the merchant
Ensure that information is effectively transferred from business customers to other departments
Prepare and analyze reports
Develop strong and cooperative working relationships with business partners
Achieve designated sales targets and KPIs within specific settlement period
Post offers on the Groupon platform and work to expand our merchant portfolio
We’re excited about you if you have :
Fluent German language required
Good command of English
Computer literacy, MS office, Windows environment
Good knowledge of consumer law and COPC standards will be a strong asset
Strong communication skills
Open-minded, ability to learn fast
Focused on targets delivery
Ability to identify both customers and merchants needs
Ability to adapt to fast changing environment and processes
Patience and composure, emotional balance
experience in sales will be an asset
