Lead Offshore wind APQP program deployment based on leading industry best practices, continuous improvement activities & risk management to deliver products with zero defects.
Develop a clear strategy and deployment roadmap for APQP in GE Offshore to drive delivery of better quality across the full end to end value chain from customer to warranty execution.
Understand customer requirements for APQP implementation in Offshore and focus on exceeding or meeting those standards.
Embed and maintain the APQP Model into New Product Development / Design, in accordance with milestones to get it right first time
Regularly Conduct benchmarking of New Product, Design, Sourcing & Manufacturing processes against industry leading standards and practices for APQP deployment.
Continuous measurement and tracking of APQP performance as per defined performance targets during the product life cycle.
Lead organisational APQP taskforce and support related change management, communication, engagement and training to achieve 100% adoption.
Drive cross-functional collaboration for effective enterprise-wide APQP implementation
Report on progress of key performance indicators, targets to improve, problem solving reports, LEAN events & projects as required
