The key purpose of this role is to optimise 3rd party spend on IT products and services across the Adevinta Group, through the delivery of the identified integration benefit and creation of short- to long-term value optimisation strategies aligned to the objectives of the business.
This mission critical role is placed within the Procurement team, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing.
QualificationsYour main responsibilities will be : Develops global IT category strategies and works with Regional Procurement Leads to align strategy with overarching procurement goals.
Accountable for leading execution of IT category strategies and ensure appropriate governance.Accountable for achieving IT category savings targets and sign-offs.
Financial reporting of cost improvement on a P&L basis, interpreting CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation and cash flow.Designs IT category strategies and sourcing plans, developing and executing sourcing strategies.
The category strategy balances the business needs, company risk and supply market capability to determine the optimum route to deliver maximum value from the category.
Ensures the category sourcing and contract(s) meet business requirements through the execution of the strategic sourcing process.
Facilitates the creation of supplier SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and performance check-points with vendor managers.Ensures contracts are completed for all relevant agreements and that SLAs have been agreed with the end user.
Manages complex negotiation and supplier selection within the framework of the category strategies and sourcing strategies.
Applies global standards and policies with robust terms and conditions that manages Adevinta’s service delivery & commercial risk.
Works with Operational Excellence to assess the global and regional market environment, supply base and major industry trends and threats.
Uses this knowledge to define the optimum category strategies for Adevinta.Acts as a subject matter expert for their category area(s) and maintains / shares this knowledge across the organisation.
Supports and drives initiatives for the defined key vendors of the category in conjunction with vendor managers; also manages long term strategic vendor relationships, supporting delivery of improvement and innovation initiatives as identified by vendor managers.
