Sales Representative JOB DESCRIPTION : Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets. Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.

  • High expertise in comprehended portfolio and related therapies.
  • Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping (CRM input), monthly forecasts, expenses, etc.
  • in line with divisional standards.

  • Manage samples, demo devices, promotional items and any promotional items for adequate use with customers.
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible.
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards

  • Compliance with local and corporate policies and procedures Minimum requirements : Skills and experience : Knowledge Skills
  • Relevant Product and Therapy Knowledge
  • Capable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system and necessary correspondence and spreadsheets.

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical / Paramedical certification eg. nursing or Relevant industry experience.

  • More than one year relevant experience in a sales role in the Health Care Industry (time in role indicative / expectation only).
