Purpose of the role
Ensure operational and financial performance of MRO suppliers. Key stakeholder for a subset of suppliers and focal point for IAG GBS Procurement.

Support IB MRO ensure correct operational performance of its suppliers
Ensure continuous improvement and constant competition among suppliers
Identify improvement opportunities with current or alternative suppliers
Accountabilities
Vendor management
Monitor suppliers performance and ensure service level agreements are met
Propose improvement ideas for underperforming suppliers and support the definition of Iberia MRO strategy through identified market opportunities
Promote fluent and professional relationships with suppliers
Organise regular follow-up sessions at all management levels to secure a fruitful relationship with the suppliers
Define Joint Procedure Manuals between IB MRO and supplier to ensure operational performance
Support IAG Procurement to create additional opportunities for the Business
Support IAG Procurement on the agreements negotiation with service and material suppliers to ensure the achievement of the best conditions for the Company taking into account the business needs and the market standards

Sponsor ISLP within the team and actively contribute to its development
Foster continuous improvement philosophy
Actively contribute capturing problems, fostering lessons learnt processes and developing and executing improvement plans
Work against defined set of KPIs to track and control the business targets
Identify potential risks for lack of service and put solutions in place to solve them
Identify improvement opportunities with the aim of simplifying the procedures and / or reduce cost
Identify key internal process / execution gaps and escalate as required for timely resolution
Standardize and integrate the processes under the scope of the position in order to optimize the usage of the resources taking into account the customer needs and the best market practices, ensuring the business competitiveness and sustainability of the business

Education, skills & experience
Qualifications
Degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent desired but not necessary
Degree in Business Management, Operations or equivalent desired but not necessary
Skills
Fluent in English
Good communication and negotiation skills
Has a detailed knowledge of a number of corporate models.

Experience
2-3 years in procurement / supplier management environment
2-3 years with fluent external relationships outside of the company
