Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Welding Equipment Technician (Coating team) for


  • Ensure the working status of the pipeline main line equipment during the project execution and during project preparation, installation and start up.
  • For Offshore Project the Coating Equipment Technician will stay under the operational supervision of the Coating Supervisor and remains the technical reference point for all the FJC (Field Joint Coating) production equipment

  • Ensure compliance with safety / quality procedures / standards
  • Install FJC (Field Joint Coating) on board of a Saipem vessel, or in a prefabrication yard in accordance with the program / SOW defined by the PWEC
  • Provide for all the FJC (Field Joint Coating) process equipment install onboard the vessel the technical assistance, diagnosing activity, maintenance, repairing
  • Monitor lay barge FJC (Field Joint Coating) process equipment, equipment consumables and spare parts consumption
  • Insure FJC (Field Joint Coating) production equipment certification with the cooperation from vessel QAQC engineer
  • Report to FJC (Field Joint Coating) Supervisors onboard, the CWEC / PWEC with a weekly report the status of the FJC production equipment as well the consumption, spare parts and PO status issued by the vessel / project
  • WET responsibility will be limited to one or several of the following equipment (including corresponding spare parts) based on the technical training received onto the following FJC equipment :
  • Vacuum blasting

    Heat and coat equipment

    Induction generator and associated coils

    PU equipment (machine, heads, etc.)

    IMPP equipment (machine, mold etc.)

    Handling system / manipulators for the above equipment

    Offshore) 35 paid workings days / 35 unpaid leave days

    Camp) 75 paid workings days / 21 unpaid leave days

    Office) 120 paid workings days / 16 unpaid leave days

    Working hours :

    Offshore) 7 days / 12 hours a week

    Camp) 6 days / 10 hours a week

    Office) 5 days / 8 hours a week
