MISSION :

Develop, plan and implement the compensation and organization policies according to the Company’s guidelines according to the budget available, guaranteeing that the company is aligned with internal equity and external competitiveness principles in order to meet EDP R Strategy, Business needs and high performing market practices.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Compensation :
  • o Elaborate the annual salary review and bonus processes for different geographies.

    o Advise and influence business decisions related to hiring and retention to develop competitive offers rooted in market data and aligned with our compensation philosophy, for new and existing employees

    o Elaboration of HR Budget for different geographies.

    o Short and medium term-planning and controlling of costs

    o Lead, carry out and deploy Compensation related projects, among others : development and / or re-design of existing / new programs, design of fixed and variable compensation plans.

    o Design of employees compensation package and propose new elements of compensation.

    o Carry out Salary and / or Benefits Benchmarks in different geographies.

    o Implement processes related to salary costs.

  • Organizational design :
  • o Definition and analysis of functions by department in the organization

    o Define, review and update job profile and functional catalogs, job leveling included.

    o Lead, carry out and organization related projects

    o Analysis and definition of salary structures based on job catalogs and lob leveling.

    o Global Grading / Job Leveling definition, including informing and communicating to leaders, train local about compensation and ensure alignment in compensation processes.

  • Analytics
  • o Maintain data updated and prepare metrics.

    o Assume responsibility for analyzing compensation data and propose enhancement actions in case of deviations.

    o Designing and develop metrics and dashboards to support a variety of compensation and organization initiatives.

    Minimum requirements of the position

    Required academic skills and knowledge :

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Law. MBA degrees is a plus.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in a similar position with responsibilities in compensation and benefits, organization design and knowledge of flexible compensation packages.
  • Experience consolidating, analyzing, and deciphering disparate data, and telling compelling stories to help drive decision making
  • Fluent in English and a second language is a plus (Portuguese, French )
  • Adept in IT, especially in Excel MS Office and Power BI
  • Specific requirements :

  • Attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Customer service and team-member disposition.
  • Able to work independently on multiple priorities while maintaining flexibility to changing and expanding job duties or assignments.
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office (spreadsheets and presentations).
  • Sensitive to business needs, employee goodwill, and public image.
