As a reflection of our continued growth in Iberia, Salesforce is hiring a new Counsel to join our Iberia legal team, based in Madrid.

The Iberia legal team delivers innovative, trusted and world-class legal services to advance and protect Salesforce's interests while creating a fulfilling work environment for our legal family.

Responsibilities : Review and prepare all type of legal and commercial documentation needed to support new commercial opportunities and existing contracts (such as RFPs, NDAs, vendor accreditation processes, letters of intent, security / privacy-related questionnaires), and help translating when needed.

Assist the members of the Iberia legal team in drafting, negotiating and revising master subscription agreements, data processing addenda, professional services agreements with customers in support of the sales and professional services organizations.

Partner with data privacy team as well as the extended support teams (including sales operations, deal desk, security and finance teams) to support and develop processes for contract and knowledge base management, order processing and revenue recognition.

Conduct various legal projects and other duties as assigned. Participate in cross-regional team projects. Maintain library of current template forms, negotiated provisions and other relevant information.

Help in developing and updating training materials; deliver legal training to the sales and professional services teams.

Experience / Skills Required : Qualified Spanish Lawyer, or demonstrable experience of working in Spanish legal environment.

IT / IP and / or Contract Law degree required. 1 to 2 years as in-house commercial counsel / trainee either as an in-house counsel, ideally in a large company, or in a reputable law firm primarily in the Spanish market.

Ideally IT law experience. Degree in Law, in process of becoming a Qualified Spanish Lawyer Excellent command of Spanish and English, both written and oral.

Outstanding legal drafting skills both in Spanish and English. Demonstrate good judgement. Competence in spotting legal, business, and operational issues.

Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines, in a fast pace, rapidly evolving and demanding industry and work environment.

Can ask the right questions to identify accurately business needs. Ability to handle pressure and provide thoughtful recommendations.

Team spirit and collaborative attitude. Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude. Can do attitude, resilient, flexible, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.

Familiar with and interested in software and technical concepts (web applications / cloud computing / digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence).
