Sales Area Manager Central / NorthWest Spain As part of Sales department and specifically in Spain, based in Madrid, you will be responsible for achieve annual sales strategies and goals through management a team of Sales and Services representatives.
Develop area sales plans in conjunction with the team under your responsibility, managing to support and grow Radiometer’s customers.
Provide the direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for the regional sales and service teams. Advance the professional development, professional conduct, sales effectiveness and efficiency of staff.
Track progress with sales, forecast, pipeline growth and instrument usage, effectively using DBS tools. The job To become successful, reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities and tasks will among others include :
Responsible for sales management of business in a large area Central / NorthWest Spain.
Responsible for achieve sales goals in your area cooperating with the team.
Develops a regional sales strategy for the area to aggressively gain market share ensuring core growth and consistent delivery of financial targets.
Translates strategy into actionable tactics on a daily basis.
Planned co-travel with sales field representatives (SFRs) when calling on existing and new customers, access their needs and characteristics.
Present appropriate, products, solutions and services.
Analyze and assess SFR’s ability to analyze customer and territory sales trends. Assist SFR’s sales activity based on territory needs to ensure that territory attains or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly and / or annual sales goals.
Maintain regular contact with SFR’s on results with existing customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction with products, solutions and services offered;
implement and monitor creative marketing activities aimed at expanding / growing core business.
Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective customers; develop and implement creative strategies aimed at converting these prospective customers from competition to a new customer.
Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thought leaders. Utilize these relationships to expand market share.
Monitor SFR’s ability to maintain accurate customer files and records in order to have complete and up-to-date customer information, which can be shared among the (local) organization.
Study and stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies, competitive activity, and other general information of interest to company or to customers.
Apply this knowledge for your strategies and tactics to develop your commercial activity.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement them at the territory level.
Establish and maintain a travel schedule that will allow consistent contact with SFR’s on development of sales plan with existing and potential customers.
Manage assigned geographical region within allocated expense budget.
Complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
Uses DBS tools to formulate sales strategy and to effectively manage sales pipeline.
Ensures that the appropriate level of marketing activities are implemented for the region.
Applies DBS tools in all areas to maximize results and reduce waste.
Drives accurate forecasting through effective sales pipeline management and application of appropriate DBS tools.
Proactively provides General Manager with regular updates on sales, orders and business growth.
Regularly reviews own business to identify gaps and to implement corrective countermeasures.
Uses customer feedback to engage with customers and to optimize sales methods.
Applies value selling and smart pricing methods.
