Develop and execute an employer outreach strategy targeting employers in specific sectors but within multiple geographies according to the list of company targets defined by the Sector heads.
Contribute to the sector account plan from business development perspective, using specific market intelligence and direct information from contacts of assigned sectors, with the objective of increasing job postings and placements results.
Land a specific Business Development action plan by quarter to be reviewed regularly with Sector head and Sector team and agree on next steps.
This action plan will be part of the general sector action plan and the Business Development will be responsible to keep the information updated.
Accountable to increase job postings and placements in assigned sectors. Working in coordination with the rest of the Sector teams to improve overall sector placements : targeting those job postings in target accounts that match better our students’ profiles across school and that can contribute to increase the average salary trend, as well as being able to build solid relationships with new companies to refer our students.
Conduct visits to new employer partners and new business leads to reinforce relationship and seek new opportunities for both on-campus and off-campus recruiting.
Present a specific strategy to outreach each company, leveraging current IE contacts to maximize impact with target companies (e.
g. Corporate Relations, Faculty, Alumni Champions, Foundation, student clubs).
Contribute to employers' participation in specific recruiting events.
Extensive sales calls and proactive outreach to represent the University both nationally and internationally to increase volume of recruiters and geographic diversity of recruiters.
Use CRM to manage company relations (contacts, status, follow-up). Promote new job postings published in CRM through internal marketing tools (i.
e. newsletters, call for applications) and promote group informative sessions to give relevant information about the recruiting process to students.
Attend external sector specific events as needed.
Prepare training activities on Commercial topics.
Define and complete special projects as required.
Master’s Degree from a top University is desirable.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Between 5 and 8 years of experience in sales, business development, managing corporate clients and / or managing employers.
HR, coaching, or headhunting experience is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of higher education (master or MBA) programs and employers.
Proven ability to create and establish external and internal business relationships.
Excellent senior relationship management.
Excellent communication skills, coaching skills, and empathy.
Organizational skills and able to plan and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Multi-tasking and the ability to work with a sense of urgency under tight deadlines.
