Under the supervision of the Head Bartender and within the limits established by the policies and procedures manual of the company and the F&B Department, he / she will be in charge of the operation of the beverage service carried out in the different catering points of the complex.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
Elaborate the cocktail menu with and without alcohol, as well as distillates, liquors and other alcoholic beverages.
To elaborate new cocktails and drinks with and without alcohol, as well as to version and update classic cocktails with and without alcohol.
Be up to date with the different trends in the preparation, decoration and service of drinks and the available ingredients.
Interact with customers to give added value, providing information about the history, elaboration, provenance, etc. of the different ingredients used in the preparation of the drinks or the drinks themselves.
Keep the work area and beverage stores clean and tidy always complying with the different laws and sanitary and hygienic regulations of the company.
Suggest and guide customers according to their preferences regarding alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
To watch over the care and good use of the company's materials and machinery.
Report breakages and damages in the different services and work areas to his superior.
Promote sales through information and good advice to customers.
Support the Liquid Manager in his decisions, contributing new ideas or suggestions for the improvement of the department.
Taking care of the image and prestige of the company.
Cooperation and communication with other departments related to the service; (kitchen, reception, warehouse, etc...).
Ensure that the fire procedure and the hotel's Occupational Risk Prevention protocols are complied with in the department.
Ensure that any suspicious activity or anything unusual must be reported immediately.
All those analogous and / or equivalent, inherent to the professional performance itself.
Respect all measures and protocols of occupational risk prevention, social distancing, cleaning and disinfection.

Fluency in English & Spanish. Other languages will be an asset.
Previous experience as a bartender in luxury hotels or prestigious catering establishments is a must.
Food handler's license (essential).
