The Oracle Integration Architect has the knowledge and have expertise to architect, design and oversee implementation of large-scale integration solutions, adopting various technologies.
To provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; to assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments.
Strategy & Planning
Work closely with third party partners to modernize customer's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solution for EMEAI
Define, document, and communicate technical and architectural requirements for current and future integrations applying proven delivery methodologies including Agile.
Analyze and provide recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures related to EDI and integrations (Oracle SOA)
Support business process design, testing, evaluation, and system stabilization efforts.
Ability to prepare and present technical solution / infrastructure recommendations required.
Evaluate current processes, recommend, and drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Coordinate technical design reviews with a focus on industry standards and best practices.
Creation and proper maintenance of technical solution design documentation.
Ensure adherence to department processes including code migration and change control procedures.
Work with Product Owner / Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
Responsible for trouble-shooting Level 3 production issues. Collaborate with Level 2 (Functional Business Analyst) to resolve issues that need further technical assistance.
Prepare documentation according to SDLC standards for in-depth testing for modified and new functionality : Technical Design Solution (MD70), process Architect solution flows and cross functional integration.
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent field of study required.
3+ years of experience Architectural standards practices and implementing EDI / B2B / Integration solutions
Expertise in writing and consuming SOAP and RESTful based Web Services and systems integration
Experience with Oracle Service Oriented Architecture, SOA, BPEL, BAM, WSM, OSB, ODI, OIM, OAM
Experience with Oracle 10g, 11g databases, PL / SQL programming
Experience in Java, J2EE, XML, XML Schema, XPath, XQuery, JMS
Very good understanding and hands-on Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Application Server
A team player with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to work on your own initiative.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Language : Fluent English
Willingness to travel on company business
