Sales Strategy : Defining and implementing PayPal’s platform selling strategy for the Iberia markets, managing local sales teams (Large Enterprise and Mid-Market segments), building C-Level relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.
Operating Plans : Putting in motion clear operating plans to accelerate PayPal’s market share in digital commerce and payments through cross-selling and up-selling of PayPal’s solutions and opening up new business opportunities.
This in close coordination with the different functions supporting the Iberia markets (Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations ).
Team management : Managing and developing direct team of 7 persons, including Enterprise Sales and Account Executives. And acting as site leader for PayPal’s Madrid office made of 20+ persons.
Spokesperson : Representing PayPal in local industry events and business associations, and medias.
A results-oriented commercial leader, ability to sell at C-Level, internally and externally, and to lead a team mainly composed by sales people.
Strategic thinker, capable of sizing opportunities and their attractiveness, and of sensing emerging trends. Problem solver with good intellectual, analytical rigor and quantitative analysis capabilities.
A team player with great interpersonal and communication skills, able to create strong internal networks. An excellent people manager, able to lead the local team and also to influence the functional teams and the peers in the other countries.

Over 15 years’ experience in sales or business development at a major payments, financial services digital commerce or technology company.
Proven successful track record in consultative sales or business development at C-level.
Proven ability in building up and managing consultative sales or business development teams.
Ability to work well in a matrix environment, collaborating across multiple departments and time zones, and influencing all levels.
Spanish and English fluency is essential, fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
