Join us as a Technology / IT Senior Auditor!

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Technology / IT Senior Auditor to join our Technology Audit team.

The Technology Senior Auditor assists in delivering audit services that consistently satisfy the needs and reasonable expectations of the client by helping them improve the control environment, streamline their business and achieve operational excellence.

Working on an audit team, s / he has responsibility for evaluating risks and controls, executing audit tests, communicating issues and findings to management, devising solutions for business improvements, and following-up on corrective actions.

Key responsibilities include :

Analysis and Reporting

Individually and as part of a project team : develop, execute, and document control evaluations

Analyze and organize audit data and summarize audit findings for management review

Apply and leverage current and emerging audit tools and techniques in data analysis

Throughout the audit, effectively utilize the automated work papers system to document work

Communications

Assess and escalate issues identified during audit assignments or special projects

Participate in discussions of audit results with management

Research

Apply and leverage current and emerging audit tools and techniques in data analysis

Perform technical research using external and internal source material

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree or equivalent

5+ years of Related Experience

Solid understanding of operating systems (e.g., UNIX / LINUX, Windows Server) and databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL)

Understanding of Cyber Security controls (e.g., IDS / IPS, SIEM, Firewall) and frameworks (e.g. FFIEC, NIST)

Solid analytical, problem solving, organization, and project management skills

Ability to understand the relationship between complex information technology and business issues

Proficiency in risk analysis and report preparation

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management

Works well individually and in teams by sharing information and supporting colleagues

Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and effectively manage multiple priorities

Desire to stay current on new and changing technologies

Experience with data analytics tools (a plus)

CISA, CISSP, or other Security certifications (a plus)
