What you will be doing Job Summary
Responsible for a smooth execution of each shipment from the collection until its delivery
All tasks are completed in a correct, timely and cost efficient manner
Shipments are sent by the most secure, rapid and efficient way
All relevant customs regulations and country guidelines are adhered to for all imports and exports of individual service shipments
Ensuring shipments run as smooth as possible through detailed pre-planning
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments, reacting to any deviation from the plan
Schedule pick-ups and deliveries and assign drivers
Follow up of clearance progress and POD details
Action notes in internal systems send those who correspond to Customer Service
Communicate any temperature results as soon as possible after delivery, checking and noting any deviations
Prepare the packaging and all materials needed for the shipments.
Weigh and measure the shipments, change in internal systems and inform Customer Service of any discrepancy
Advise clear pick up / special delivery / temperature control handling instructions to national agents on how a shipment should be managed
Prepare paperwork for export / import and follow export / import clearance process.
Work with regulations (ADR / DGR / IATA) as well as local laws and guidelines
What your background should look like (minimum qualifications) Candidate Requirements Essential Criteria Knowledge & Skills
English and Spanish language to a high level, verbal and written
Knowledge of the logistics industry
Minimum of one year work experience, preferably within International Customer Service / Operation
Knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook
Personal Attributes and Disposition
Ability to form part of a team and independently
Work weekends and bank holidays
Strong team player able to work constructively with colleagues inside and outside of the department to ensure the best possible service is provided to the client at all times
Able to follow procedures and instructions
Able to provide relevant information on request
Good communication skills, both verbally and written

Remains calm under pressure
Flexible attitude for working shifts and last minute coverage

Able to prioritise workload, which may change throughout the day
