Description and Requirements

As an Account Manager Acquisitions you will be responsible for growing Lenovo’s customer base within the Global account segment.

You will be also responsible for winning net new business and expanding the current business at identified accounts in Lenovo’s Global Account (Acquisition) Segment.

You are going to report to Head of Sales Global Acquisition Director in the company structure.What responsibilities are waiting for you in this role?

  • Build strong relationships with key channel partners, ecosystem
  • Develop robust account plans for key prospects
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts (weekly BMS)
  • Develop C level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers
  • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments
  • Acts as mentor for internal sales acquisition representative
  • Conducts regular weekly on site visits with customers and prospects (indication 8 per week but more as required)
  • Provides tailor-made configurations for customer base adhering to the company’s internal processes
  • Works together with internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses to RFP’s
  • Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets
  • Independently develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals
  • Build a strategic sales plan for the assigned and identified accounts and execute accordingly taking the critical success factors into account
  • Team with a cross functional team within the company to keep deals moving through the funnel
  • Act as a Client Executive and coordinate peer specialist customer engagement across our server, workstation, and server groups, among others
  • Ensure that our customers receive world class sales and customer service
  • Other relevant activities / projects management may be required
  • What do we expect from you?

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or similar level through experience;
  • 10 years of successful Enterprise technology sales
  • Demonstrated track record of top performance with multi-million dollar quota
  • Can do attitude; always aiming and striving to win the deal!
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English, French and Dutch;
  • Proven successful account management track record of selling to Large Enterprise & Governmental Institutions (in-depth knowledge of Education / Healthcare sector would be appreciated)
  • Strong relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to motivate virtual resources
  • Technical affinity and experience in the pc business arena or similar technology sectors
  • Ability to clearly present information in a concise way tailored to the audience
  • Experience with working for a Global / Multinational employer is considered a plus
