The intern will help, support, assist and report to the Assistant Director, SESAR in the Safety and Flight Operations (SFO) Department for the European region.
The incumbent will provide support in infrastructure-related activities in the European Region with a focus on the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR).
The incumbent will also be help in developing IATA studies, cost models, planning and documents relating to SES and SESAR Air Traffic Management issues, in close cooperation with other SFO team members.
Participate and organize diverse meetings and draft reports.
Ability to produce statistics and reviews of IATA reports, as well as crosschecking of cost-benefit analyses (CBA).
Maintain daily communication (telephone and e-mail) with relevant industry stakeholders, such as Eurocontrol and SESAR Joint Undertaking (SJU) colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills
Recent graduate in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering or any another technical aviation-related degree.
Solid IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.).
Willing to learn every day.
An excellent level of English, written and spoken, is essential; fluency in other European languages would be an asset.
