As an Algorithm Engineer in ADI’s medical products group, this position will be responsible for researching, developing, and testing new algorithms and data analytics for ADI’s medical products.
The successful candidate will work in a fast paced, global team of software / hardware / system engineers, user experience designers and third-party suppliers and partners to deliver clinical grade end medical products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Design and develop signal processing algorithms for deriving medical parameters from raw electrical signalsDesign and develop data analysis tools for deriving insights from clinical dataTranslate platform system requirements to platform design specifications in collaboration with internal and external design and development teamsDevelop system verification and validation plans, protocols, and test cases Win key stakeholder approval for platform requirements, specifications, and plansDrive execution of projects to meet internal and customer scope, cost, and scheduleResolve development and field issues as required in a timely mannerMinimum Qualifications : Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or other related fields10+ years of algorithm development experience in the medical spaceStrong background in data scienceStrong signal processing expertise (Time-Frequency analysis, FIR / IIR filters, statistical analysis etc.
Strong understanding of systems physiologyStrong statistics knowledgeExperience working with healthcare providers and medical research professionalsNice to have : Work experience in fast paced / start-up environmentsExperience collaborating with globally dispersed project teamsAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbalExperience / working knowledge of a variety of programming languages (python, Matlab, C / C++, etc.
