eCommerce environment

Tech Data offers several eCommerce solutions to allow its customers to purchase manage and resell Software products and Cloud Services.

These solutions include online configuration and ordering tools, but also integrated solution (e-business). Tech Data sells over 1Billion USD software through these eCommerce solutions.

Our latest releases include a marketplace for Cloud Services, a White Labeled eCommerce solution, and an API platform for both customers and vendors.

Job Purpose

The Cloud Systems & Services team is responsible to optimize the business processes required for these businesses. This includes offering shared services through Tech Data owned Shared Service Center outsourced to service partners in EMEA.

An important role for this Specialist will be to become a deep subject matter expert on StreamOne Cloud technologies and then apply this expertise to design and implement operational processes to migrate partners from one TechData platform to most recent versions.

The Specialist will work closely with TechData cloud operations and country teams to ensure appropriate understanding, documentation, and coordination of the platform migration.

The Specialist will own and coordinate several individual customer goals and progress updates. The specialist will collaborate directly with TechData's most important partners to develop the right strategies, and to prepare systems and the end-to-end processes to launch Cloud platform for partners and also end customer use.

Other project orientated duties may be assigned as needed.

The team is also responsible to roll-out Cloud solutions to all Tech Data entities in Europe (21 countries +). The team will collaborate with all of Tech Data's Business Unit leaders and their key partners, to develop the right strategies, and strive to deliver best in class systems with maximum impact and synergy across Europe.

Responsibilities :

  • Take ownership of Partner and Partner data for new platform, specifically owning migrations for Reseller, End User & Subscriptions
  • Review End to End process to ensure optimum efficiency / performance
  • Guarantee migration processes are delivered under agreed SLA
  • Help cloud operations team to create and keep always updated the Partner Candidates List for Migration
  • Understand Customer needs to successfully migrate, propose solutions and efficiently manage migration and new platforms customer’s expectations.
  • Be available to defined list of VIP partners and drive the project plan to complete their migration.
  • Effectively communicate to Partners, Business Units Leaders, TD Stakeholders and Cloud Teammates.
  • Manage constant communication with other stakeholder teams around processes.
  • Help identifying and managing missing platform functionalities and reseller dependencies that block immediate reseller migrations.
  • Support countries with resellers Recruitment processes and targeted communication strategies
  • Support countries with Migration Readiness by allocating resellers into waves.
  • Execute System Clean-up activities
  • Collect KPIs / SLAs, measure and share results.
  • Provide reports to Country Coordinators to analyze migration velocity to reach periodic targets
  • Lessons Learned Tasks focused on Customer Satisfaction and Migration Analysis to maximize its velocity
  • Help definition of requirements for Data Migration Tool enhancements and current functionalities refinements
  • Maintaining a broad understanding of Tech Data cloud marketplaces
  • 3. Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Comfortable with home office, virtual trainings and remote enablement
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce
  • Solid understanding of vendor dynamics within the Software distribution channel.
  • Strategic and analytical skills
  • Proven experience on project management.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • An out of the box thinking mentality
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual (ownership)
  • Comfortable working in an international results driven project organisation.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Project Experience of Software Licensing, Support, or Customer Service functions definite advantage. Understanding of the IT Software / Services / SaaS industry are helpful
  • Experience in managing distant or virtual teams in a service desk environment preferred.
  • Legal and Business acumen.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls
  • IT Channel experience, Pan European distributors or Software vendor are a definite advantage
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills in English language, additional European languages being a plus.
  • Ability and Willingness for business travel is required.
  • Technical or at least conceptual understanding of APIs and system integrations.
  • IT background in Pre-Sales, Customer Service or Project Management.
  • Experience in managing distant or virtual teams in a service desk environment preferred.
  • Intercultural experience is a plus
