In North America our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between) that buy in either high frequency or in bulk quantities.

Our B2B customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer and thus we have to reinvent everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager with marketing automation, online email marketing, analytical, and project management skills to join our team.

The person in this role will own marketing support for account management, online channel management, content creation, and events that drive customer acquisition and adoption of the Amazon Business features.

This leader will have overall responsibility of the marketing content and channel management for Amazon Business Spain. As Senior Marketing Manager you’ll help marketing and account management teams meet their objectives, earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects gracefully, and balance competing priorities in a fast-

paced environment. You will partner across the organization to develop and manage marketing campaigns, execute test plans, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine targeting and messaging.

The experienced leader will design and implement the go-to-market strategy for Amazon Business Spain. This individual will work closely with product management and engineering and other Amazon teams to implement a strategy that is coordinated across all B2B initiatives.

In addition, the leader will develop and implement operating practices, process, and metrics. As a senior leader on the European B2B team, this individual will also be expected to play an important role in discussing the overall long-

term strategy for the B2B initiative. It is a highly visible role within the Spanish Amazon community and will work particularly closely across multiple organizations and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Constantly strive to raise the bar in terms of talent, execution, process design, goals, and incentives
  • Seek out ways to utilize automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Maintain and refine scalable, repeatable and comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking for email campaigns
  • Manage controls on all marketing data inputs and outputs to drive data cleanliness
  • Drive events, webinars, and email marketing campaigns, as well as offline advertising, including direct mail and print advertising
  • Own delivery and measurement of customer surveys
  • Run A / B tests to test and refine email outreach
  • Partner with Category and Product Management teams to provide customer perspective and engagement opportunities, as well as customer-
  • driven product improvement ideas

  • Partner with Sales and Operations to test, measure and execute acquisition ideas
  • Take an Ownership role in the continued build-out and documentation of infrastructure and process of acquiring and on-boarding Amazon Business customers, balancing strong and standard execution with Invent & Simplify
  • Present results in weekly, monthly and quarterly Business Review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives
  • Work closely with the global B2B marketing teams and the product management team to establish and develop the long-term roadmap to grow Amazon Business in Spain.
  • Education

  • University degree required (bachelor as minumum).
  • Experience

  • 7+ years' experience in marketing in a structured organization (FMGC...) and / or consulting companies on marketing projects or marketing operation.
  • Proven experience using online marketing automation systems Pardot or Marketo preferred.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce.com.
  • Experience working with industry tools including email, web analytics, and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on schedule.
  • Experience working with senior management in large organizations.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles across detail oriented functions, such as sales, marketing, and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a marketing solution and product roadmap.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others.
  • Superior analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve highly ambiguous problems.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in roles of increasing responsibility
  • MBA in top tier school
  • Experience in hiring and leading B2B focused marketing teams
