Learn more at SDL.com and follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.JOB PURPOSEThe Solutions Consultant assists the Solutions Consulting team in providing a variety of consultative and sales support services (such as : coordinating the preparation of Solution presentations, helping to gather relevant materials, organizing / coordinating demonstrations to ensure they go smoothly) to cultivate, obtain, and retain customers by helping them understand how SDL Solutions can help achieve their business goals.

Through tasks and projects, further develops skills.ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand the Client’s needs and challenges to define the most suitable solution and processes.

Support Sales in relation to existing business and new opportunities requiring a new Solution to be launched.Deliver pre-sales activities such as client demos, client consultations, answer pre-sales product questions, technical proof of concepts.

Project Manage implementation projects involving SDL Technologies and services for local and international customers.Drive effective communication and excellence in performance within the team.

Plan, schedule and follow-up on each step of the Solutions implementations working as a bridge between all stakeholders involved (Clients, Sales, Operations, Implementation Specialists, etc.

Participate and organize the relevant meetings to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned.Work closely with all stakeholders to optimize operational processes and workflows within SDL Technologies and enhance efficiency.

When required, organize / attend production-related client meetings and coordinate process review on main accounts to ensure efficiency and quality are being prioritized at all times.

Make sure customer experience and expectations are exceeded at every opportunity.Accountable to the client and company for overall delivery of the Solutions within scope, time and budgetHave a tight ownership of all the Solutions implementation processes to make sure all stakeholders are performing as required.

Support senior team members (e.g., Solutions Consultants and / or Sales) in the delivery of customer presentations (e.g., note taking, researching customer questions, and coordinating responses).

Support sales in responding to RFPs by researching / investigating information / questions. Provides general organizational and / or administrative responsibilities to ensure pre-sales activities run smoothly and are coordinated (e.

g., demos).Passionate to ensure clients meet their objectives.Act as a team member that contributes to solutions and customer satisfaction.

Adapt to a fast-paced and changing technical environmentQUALIFICATIONDegree level (BA, BS) in Languages or Translation and / or Interpretation or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or experience in account management and client facing roles.Strategic and process improvement thinking.

Excellent written and spoken skills in English and a second language.Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, html, xml).

Knowledge of TMS, MT, CMS and DTP software.Advanced experience using CAT Tools.SKILLSExcellent interpersonal skillsFocused on goals and the overall team and company objectivesSelf-motivated and pro-activeHighly analytical and articulateDetail and service orientedProfessional and customer service oriented, with the ability to manage client relationships and complex expectationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, in English and in French or German.
