The position offers a unique opportunity for professional development by working in the Projects Office Group at the Transversal section of the engineering division with the following main tasks :
The Project engineer is the responsible of the 3D file / files obtained as output of the design, including assemblies and FEM.
It is also the responsible / spoke person in the different design review meetings.

The candidate should hold a master degree in mechanical engineering, and should be able to work in a R&D international environment showing a customer service attitude.
The candidate will work in close loop with the beamline scientist to generate solutions for her / his beamline. Experience in industry for complex R&D designs, understanding of project planning and reporting requirements as well as profound interpersonal, oral / written English communication skills together with fluency in Spanish or Catalan is essential.
Selection process development
The selection will be carried out through the competition-opposition system.
First of all, an analysis of the curriculum will be carried out (assessment of previous experience and / or professional history, degree, training and other professional information relevant to the position).

The merits will be accredited by means of the CV attached to the application. The selection body may require accreditation by additional documentation, originals or certified copies confirming the experience invoked in the CV.
The best rated candidates, at least two, will be invited to an interview where the technical competence, knowledge, skills and professional experience linked to the position will be assessed, with a total score of up to 60 points.

The resolution of the selection procedure will be carried out within a maximum period of six months from the deadline for submitting applications for participation.
