What you'll be doing :
The Digital Optimisation Developer will be working in the Optimisation function of the Digital team, responsible for driving value through testing, personalisation, segmentation and continuous data driven optimisation across multiple digital channels and Western Europe markets.
Key responsibilities :
Responsible for the build and deployment of our optimisation activities including AB Tests, personalised experiences and product recommendations across various platforms.
Collaborating with colleagues, understanding their requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Working in conjunction with UX and product teams, to execute test experiences that customers find intuitive, engaging and enjoyable.
Working with the Digital Trading Team to support trading plans for specific campaigns, making recommendations to drive conversion goals.
Acting as a technical subject matter expert on AB Testing implementation best practices, keeping up with industry updates and bringing change and innovation in our processes.
Supporting the Digital Optimisation Manager from a technical perspective in driving change and optimisation in the wider digital organisation.
Proactively monitor optimisation activities for quality issues, raise problems and thrive to improve our work.
Analyse and evaluate activity data to provide recommendations and next steps.
Contribute to the prioritisation process and help shape the optimisation and personalisation roadmap.
We'd love you to have :
Experience in building AB testing and optimisation activity.
Experience with testing tools such as Dynamic Yield, Optimizely, Adobe Target etc
Experience of working to tight deadlines / schedules with cross-functional departments
Experience of prioritising workloads
Degree level or equivalent experience in similar role as a front-end web developer
Understanding of best coding practices, code performance analysis and troubleshooting mechanisms.
Accessibility and web standards knowledge (WCAG 2)
Demonstrable knowledge of how AB testing works within eCommerce
An understanding of web design principles and how changing UX affects our customer experience.
Data reporting using Google Analytics / Tableau / Google Data Studio etc.
