Lightsource Monitoring requires internal support for solar plants performance data analysis (availability, PRs calculation, events monitoring, etc) of our international sites outside the UK.
The main part of the role will involve daily monitoring of the plants, data quality check and analysis of our energy meters, irradiation from pyranometer or satellite and inverter output data using our monitoring system, excel and potentially other data analysis tools.
The role also includes reporting responsibilities to support Performance and Asset Management teams. Advanced excel skills are required for this role (VBA knowledge and programming skills are an advantage).
Duties and Responsibilities
Review functionality of the monitoring system across multiple sites
Daily monitoring of the plants with the aim to identify technical issues and potential underperformance
Engage and cooperate with the Asset Management Team managing alarms and technical notification received from the plants
Support the Performance Manager on a daily and regular communication with the Monitoring System provider
Export and extract data from the monitoring system to enable detailed analysis of the gaps and communication problems and quality data verification
Support the Performance Analysts and Performance Manager delivery the performance analysis reports to the Asset Management Team
Fluent English spoken and written
MS Office advanced Excel user
Programming skills with R, Matlab or similar are a plus.

Education and Qualifications
Degree in Renewable Energy, Science Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or foundation Degree (eg, FdA, FdSc), Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) related with Renewable Energy or / and data analysis.
