Part Time Receptionist from June 2022 (20 24 hours per week) La Crisalida Retreats is a health & wellbeing retreat located in the quiet seaside town of Albir, near Alicante.

We offer guests from all over the world a superb all-inclusive retreat experience in our quiet & welcoming centre. La Crisalida Retreats offers a holistic approach to health & wellbeing through our programme of activities that include yoga, life makeover workshops, meditation, rebounding and more, combined with tasty nutritious plant-based food & juices.

We are seeking a self-motivated, suitably experienced and well-organized receptionist to join our small and growing specialist front office team.

In this position, you will be responsible for responding to enquiries, taking & managing bookings, welcoming guests to the retreat, booking & managing treatments, keeping accurate guest accounting & PMS records & helping to attend to any other guest needs during their stay.

The ideal candidate will be committed to working to the highest of standards & enjoy working under pressure in a busy & varied role.

Operating as part of a team, you will be responsible for ensuring a superb guest experience from their enquiry & booking to their time at the retreat.

Previous experience / knowledge required : 1+ years previous reservations and / or reception experience in a hotel or retreat Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems is required.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and all other relevant computer programs Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Spanish and English Fluent in English Preferable to have university degree / further education qualifications Applicants must be located in Spain and have NIE number to be considered

    Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple demands during busy periods A proactive approach to problem solving Ability to follow well established systems and processes to ensure efficiency across the business and entire reservations team Superb attention to detail with communication and record keeping Ability to prioritise efficiently and effectively, including responding to enquiries and bookings in a timely manner Ability to concentrate on the task at hand, without being easily distracted Ambition to develop management and leadership skills Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts Understands the requirements of working to the highest standards as part of a busy team
