The Senior Solution Leader is a core member of the Commercial department, leading a team of Solution Architects responsible for the development of a solution proposal response to prospective Clients throughout the sales cycle (including RFI, RFP).
The goal is to understand the strategic priorities, business and technical requirements of our clients, so that we can respond to their requests in the best possible way.
You will be in charge of designing, proposing and providing technical solutions, interacting with our clients, operations functions and executive business developers.
This is a senior role which is integral to supporting the Sales Organization in linking the Client’s mission, business strategy and processes to the strategy and showcasing the journey from ideation to execution.
Key accountabilities include :
Driving the Solutioning activities for complex deals, which involve multiple LOB and / or technology domains
Define solution vision, value proposition and transformational direction of the different projects.
Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries
Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients’ existing business processes and recommend solutions
Provide expertise on commercially structuring deals to differentiate from the competition
Review, and contribute to the solution costing and present financials for approval
Excellent understanding of the competitor landscape, providing insight into the sales plan on how to beat competition
Ensure that the solution translated from business objectives is fit for purpose and clearly demonstrates value for money.
The senior solution lead should be able to confidently explain this to CxO level customers
Ensure that the proposed solution covers strategy, partners, stakeholder management as well as the actual solution covering Business Process Outsourcing solutions as well as commercial aspects.
Collaborates continuously with sales managers and leads the solutioning team combining solution architects to design an affordable, innovative solution which meets a client’s requirements and business needs.
This solution should fit within the affordability target set together with the Sales Lead
Consultative approach, strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to translate business issues into relevant technical solutions and competitive propositions
Fully understands the client desired business outcomes and how the transformation strategy will deliver them through a series of projects each delivering business value
Can help construct a transformation plan that is based on a business journey, and walk the customer through the business value and outcomes delivered through that journey
Seen as a coach and mentor to the solutioning team members
Responsible for leading and managing the solutioning team in Spain and driving strong sales growth aligned with the global portfolio and strategy
Ensuring solution quality, accuracy and alignment with standards
Focusing on driving cost and resource optimization within the pre-sales function.
Managing career development and progression of the solution team.
Degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent experience
Prior sales experience from a BPO environment or a Consultancy would be ideal
Previous experience in working for a Tier 1 / 2 Technology Services Provider or major service provider in a pre-sales solutioning role
Prior experience leading, costing and implementing large complex BPO pursuits, preferably with a technology transformation component
Strong proficiency creating business willing solutions aligned with key market growth areas
Strong Leadership skills of multidisciplinary teams, including communications, technical and infrastructure teams.
Demonstrated ability to communicate (written & verbal) effectively and to influence at CxO level
Knowledge of Systems Engineering :
Software Engineering, development methodologies
Organization and processes : desirable BPMN
Information and services architecture : SOA, ESB, data bus and service bus
Excellent verbal and written business English and Spanish
Full-time contract (39 hours / week), from Monday to Friday
