Sales Manager South Europe

Multinational Company is looking for a Sales manager in Europe. This person will be responsible to develop new markets and bring new customers for developing new businesses.

Activity will primarily be focused on OEMs and EMS operations. This Sales manager will be fully supported by commercial and technical teams headquartered in Tudela, Spain.

Essential Functions :

  • Reach quarterly and annual sales targets as well as develop pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with customers at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Provide customer training and key account support to sales
  • Responsible for the development of a pipeline of new business opportunities (NBOs)
  • Responsible for advancing NBOs from identification through design-in and commercialization stages
  • Understand and report changes and the competitive landscape in Europe and market trends
  • Generate new business opportunities and attend local marketing events organized by EUropean distributors
  • Work with inside sales teams on behalf of customers to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Cooperate with other sales teams to develop new customers
  • Organize and lead internal technical trainings with other sales teams to increase market awareness of products and capabilities
  • Regularly report monthly forecast and key KPIs related to the NBO pipeline to senior management team
  • Capabilities :

  • 4-year engineering / technical degree including minimum 3 years' experience in a related field OR minimum 5 years proven technical sales expertise within the HVOR, industrial or sensor market in Europe.
  • Strong communications skills, customer relations, analytical aptitude, high energy, self-motivation, goal oriented, strong engineering and problem-solving skillset required for this role.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills. Spanish, French and or German would be a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Capable of planning and executing major initiatives
  • Understand and follow applicable Company practices, policies and procedures
  • No specific location is required but major presence in South Europe would be preferred (France, Italy or Spain)
