The Opportunity ...
As the Category Leader for Excipient Procurement, you'll be accountable for developing and implementing the global category strategy covering £295m spend across Vaccines , Pharma and Consumer Healthcare supply chains.
You'll be responsible for directly managing and driving robust value adding relationships with 80 100 suppliers across multiple geographies.
You'll be expected to establish strong relationships across R&D , Supply Chains and Categories in order to identify and implement significant cost improvement projects.
A key part of your mission will be to drive innovation from third parties to meet GSK development requirements.

Work with the Supply Chains and sites to ensure that there are clear KPI’s in place to effectively manage the day to day activities of the relationship.
Influence the organisation to co create and deliver strategic savings projects both short and long term.
