Job Description

Rowa™ Technologies is a technology platform of Becton Dickinson Corp. and automates medication storage and dispensing for community pharmacies, pharmaceutical wholesalers, mail-order pharmacies and Blister Centers.

Products are available in various types and sizes and featuring hardware and software technology, Rowa solutions can be customized to automate specific work-flows of stock inbound, inventory management to the point of order dispensing.

BD Rowa’s PDC business is mainly driven by warehouse automation for pharmaceutical wholesalers, mail-order pharmacies, hub & spoke business models and central fill facilities.

Rowa’s solutions for return handling, slow mover automation, cooling item automation and controlled drug automation are designed to raise level of automation and lower cost of production.

By streamlining these processes, they help save a substantial amount of time, which can be extremely beneficial for hospitals facing ever-tightening budgets.

We have now an exciting opportunity within our direct sales team.

As Spain Key Account Manager for Intra-Logistical Solutions you will extend and expand BD Rowa’s strategic business field with Pharmaceutical Distribution Centers (PDC) and Pharmaceutical Packaging Centers (PPC).

In addition to revenue sales targets you will represent BD Rowa against customers, prospect employees, partner companies, competitors and other market participants within the defined sales territory and market segment.

You will also be responsible for :

  • Developing Sales and account strategy for PDC and PPC prospects and customers within Spain.
  • Executing Sales strategy on a day-to-day basis with the regional Key Account team.
  • Identification of related industry trade shows in the distribution area together with BD Rowa Marketing.
  • Close cooperation with BD Rowa Product Management Team for tailored PDC and PPC solutions in order to maintain Rowa’s market leader position.
  • Support of existing accounts with Sales Team related to potential product / service quality problem.
  • We are looking for you, a driven Key Account Manager with proven seniority in the field of Project Management and excellent knowledge in electro-mechanical and software integrated systems.

    You have an understanding of intra-logistic and process workflow design and have a keen understanding of Business Development and Product Management.

    Furthermore you can bring :

  • Bachelor in process engineering or mechanical engineering or many years of experience in logistics and goods flow management;
  • Experience in project management and / or service management and several years of sales experience of technically demanding products (focus : mechatronic products);
  • Strong communication and assertiveness;
  • Experience in the field of machine or solution sales (capital goods sales);
  • Unrestricted travel and understanding of other cultures
  • Very good Microsoft Office knowledge (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic CRM is desirable but not a prerequisite);
  • Driving license class B;
