Four Seasons is coming to Madrid!!!
The Four Seasons Hotel, located in Centro Canalejas Madrid and scheduled to open its doors in 2019 following repairs, restoration, and renovations.
The Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking to be a social and business center. The multi-use complex will include the 200-
room Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, luxury residences also managed by Four Seasons, a retail gallery, and parking garage. Four Seasons will be housed seven heritage buildings comprising the Canalejas complex, adjacent to the Puerta del Sol and an easy walk to Madrid's major landmarks and city center.
The buildings include frontages on Alcala Street, Sevilla Street, Canalejas Square, and Carrera de San Jeronimo. The hotel will include in its decoration a selection of works created by emerging artists that will be on display permanently.
We are currently looking for a talented and dynamic Director of Food and Beverage to join the pre-opening team!
The Director of Food and Beverage forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel or Resort.
The Director manages the Food & Beverage Operation which includes all restaurants, bars & lounges, banqueting, room service and private bars.
The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates.
Key Components :
Set strategic and operational direction in collaboration with the exec leadership team
Provide leadership, coaching and constructive feedback, development plans and succession planning strategies, for current and future leaders.
Cultivate a culture that encourages people to connect and thrive, allowing people space to be themselves, whilst aligning teams with shared goals
Drive performance, by setting metrics and benchmarks, identifying ways to improve how we do things and leading the way with industry trends
Maintain a visibility in the operation at key times to support operational teams and the guest experience
Proactively seek the industry’s top talent, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles, at the right times
Develop strong internal relationships internally across the hotel, with our owners, suppliers and contractors
Drive profitability by closely manage labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, menu engineering, purchasing decisions and stock control
Preferred Qualifications :
3+ years' experience in a Director of Food and Beverage role in a 5* hotel with a high focus on quality whilst operating at high volumes
Pre-Opening experience is advantageous.
Candidate should hold valid work authorization for the EU.

A leadership style that is authentic, engaging and strategic, based on identified business priorities
A positive, can-do attitude that shows resilience and maturity with strong communication skills
Understanding of luxury components, with a sharp attention to detail and high focus on service
Tertiary Qualifications in hotel management or industry related fields highly regarded
