The purpose of this internship is to contribute / give support wherever needed to the members of the Asset Management team in their day to day work, especially design and execution of business plans, DCF analysis, reporting, valuation templates and presentations, to maintain and strengthen high quality of deliverables to internal / external clients.

Key responsibilities :

  • Help Senior Asset Managers, or other members of the Asset Management team if required, in day to day job tasks / compliance with deadlines.
  • Main accountability will be responsibility for Excel models and Powerpoint presentations to clients, led by more senior team members.
  • To collect and analyse all information related to real estate assets. These include : technical, financial, legal, tax and commercial data.
  • To work with the relevant departments on all valuation assumptions of the assets, in order to identify and set-up the best strategy for asset management to investors.
  • End result is to optimize financial performance related to client objectives and arbitration.

  • Including capex, service charges and revenues related to asset management, set-up and follow-on budgets and cash flows models under Argus / Excel, manage obtaining all relevant information from the property managers and others partners or suppliers.
  • To help in coordination of transition process of new all AUM with acquisition / development team.
  • To perform other Asset Management tasks and projects as assigned from time to time (budgeting, reporting, etc.).
  • Qualifications

    Education / Qualifications

  • Degree educated
  • Surveying qualification (e.g. RICS) is a plus
  • Experience

  • Knowledge of real estate sector
  • Previous experience working for an investment manager / property company / letting or investment agent / professional advisory firm
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent level of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Good understanding of real estate market in Spain
  • Good understanding of financial techniques related to real estate investments
  • Spanish & English Fluent (oral and written), French / Portuguese will be a plus
