Senior Business Planning Analyst Manager (m / f / x) C&G, Barcelona, Spain

Your Responsibilities :

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Manage the execution of regional / global strategies and develop strategic long-term financial and business plans
  • Handle the budgeting process
  • Lead the implementation of risk management processes, financial compliance and controls (Business Process Controls, Internal and External Audits, financial regulatory topics) and run the accurate and timely implementation / compliance of / for financial, purchasing and control processes and policies
  • Handle and integrate services delivered to the organization (define processes, agree and track Service Level Agreements) and provide experienced advice and financial support to multiple countries
  • Engage proactively in external and commercial activities with the objective of driving growth, productivity and efficiency for the business
  • Provide well managed and quality financial analysis and technical / analytical support to the business, effective financial critical information and prepare various high level management reports on a monthly, quarterly and / or annual basis.
  • Explore and propose new ideas / projects for improving productivity according to our Strategic Plan
  • Provide financial information to enable data driven decision making
  • Own the monthly performance reporting and forecasting process, explain deviations of actuals vs Budget / LEs / LOs appropriately, supervise risk and opportunities within the area of responsibility related to projects
  • Minimum requirements

    What you’ll bring to the role :

  • 10+ years of experience in financial controlling in a multinational environment (pharma, healthcare or blue chip company preferred)
  • Degree in Economics or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Work experiences in Business Planning Analysis (BPA) or Financial Reporting & Accounting incl. production / product costing
  • Proficient in English (written & spoken)
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Excel, Power Point and SAP
  • Familiarity with financial reporting systems
  • Desirable requirements :

  • Ability to coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously, prioritize and deliver against tight timelines
  • Excellent problem solving mind-set, attitude to resolve challenges, interdisciplinary thinking.
  • Ability of properly balancing between efforts, risks and benefit
