Deployment Manager - Quip (EMEA) Our goal at Quip is to transform CRM processes and boost productivity by using real-time document collaboration with Quip embedded inside Salesforce.

We're looking for a Deployment Manager to be our customer-facing, post-sale technical specialist for Quip to support customers in their implementations of new use cases.

First things first : this is not your average Customer Success position. We are a lean, do-it-all team with the mission to inspire and enable hundreds of thousands of employees at each company to change their daily workflow habits (looking at you, email and meetings).

And we live on the leading edge of our product, evangelizing the Quip vision as ground-breaking to our enterprise customers while also representing their voice as we partner with our Product team to craft the future of Quip.

The Role As a Deployment Manager, you will lead every aspect of the implementation of Quip for multiple customers at a given time.

Your job is to facilitate every part of the deployment. You are a project manager at heart, with a keen sense of strategy and executive presence.

You will develop the implementation strategy and drive executive consensus. You will partner with technical resources across Quip to ensure we are meeting and exceeding customer expectations and requirements.

And, you will devise change management strategies to ensure a seamless adoption of the tool by thousands of users. Note : you will not be implementing Quip or Salesforce.

You will be a strategic partner to Salesforce Admins but will not gain access to the customer’s Quip or Salesforce instance.

  • Core Responsibilities Adapt our implementation plan based on customer timeline, requirements and success criteria Partner with the customer’s project team on the phases of the implementation plan to ensure a successful end user launch Have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with TCSMs, CSMs, Customer Education and Support to ensure all customer requirements are delivered;
  • hold partners accountable for execution in an agreed upon timeline Create and execute on change management processes to enable new users on Quip's productivity platform and ensure Quip is delivering on our promise of value Partner and align with Sales to ensure implementation is successfully meetings all business goals Use experienced project management and communication skills to ensure alignment across internal and external partners Deliver on the vision for how Quip will the customer solve business goals for employee productivity and collaboration Skills and Requirements 5+ years experience leading large, complex initiatives and projects from initiation to completion Strong written and oral communication skills, experience communicating with senior-level stakeholders Consistent track record of developing a project plan and working autonomously to execute on it and hold all stakeholders accountable;
  • incredible attention to detail Comfort driving a conversation in a room of technical subject matter experts Ability to drive cross-functional project teams from ideation to solution Customer-obsessed & self-motivated to drive solutions from idea through execution Desire to positively contribute to a supportive and authentic team culture built on shared principles that celebrate how each person's unique background, experience and ideas make us all better individually and as a whole Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce development Productivity platform experience Customer success or consulting experience At Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
