You will create an internal engineering & service team that our technical and sales engineers can rely on for technical support, quality product delivery, on time project scheduling.
Most activities will relate to new construction projects (fore-market).
Refinement of product hardware to provide innovation, customer value and cost-optimised manufacturing. This will be a coordinated activity with product management.
Customised hardware solutions when required, on a specific opportunity basis.
Integration of metal hardware into solution systems (particulate filters, fans, controls, ducting, installation etc?).
Profitable and timely execution of customer contracts.
Provide support to Regional Business Development Manager and sales team when required for new opportunities.
Execute pre-contract review meeting with Business Development Manager prior to start of contract execution.
Liaison with CAD operators, our factories, purchasing, suppliers, to ensure contract coordination.
Implement and maintain a rigorous system for securing customer approval at all relevant project gateways.
Implement and maintain a rigorous system for communicating important project information to relevant parties.
On-site health and safety. On-site environmental compliance. On-site quality assurance.
Ensure capacity is available at our suppliers and follow-up internal PO with your team, to deliver a high-quality level of service.
Several years project management experience in a related industry with a demonstrable record of profit delivery.
Strong working knowledge of air movement and ventilation technologies.
Strong working knowledge of best practice for metal processing (thin + medium gauge sheet and profiles).
Knowledge of electrical control systems is desirable.
The successful candidate will have a focussed approach to project delivery, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise project demands.
The ability to analyse and overcome obstacles is critical.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and able to easily establish friendly relations. More importantly the DCM will be capable of exerting an influential manner when a Company desired position needs to be achieved.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team-oriented environment.
Fluent spoken and written English. Additional language skills, particularly for countries with significant business potential are desirable.
This key position will require air travel on occasions to different Company locations. You may be required to travel to customer sites to review projects.
You may be required to give presentation to different key groups of people.
Complete fluency in Microsoft Office and other softwares provided to the DCM (e.g. CAD), within the requirement of this position.
The applicant will need to gain knowledge of the Company products and molecular softwares and be able to formulate results into a professional format.
