About the Team & Business Line :
For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon.
Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.
You will support the Managing Director with managing the various service delivery aspects associated with the business.
Your Role :
You will be responsible for all accounting matters for client companies, such as review of the accounting done by (junior) accountants or Citco’s SSC (Citco's shared-service center), preparation of periodic reporting and annual accounts (Spanish GAAP / IFRS);
You will coach, develop, lead and appraise employees within the team in order to motivate and optimally manage team members;
Quality control on output produced by the team, including Citco’s SSC;
You will maintain and develop multiple business relations with clients and other (internal / external) stakeholders;
You will recognize opportunities for new and existing contacts, with management approval negotiate and acquire contracts with clients to contribute to the business development;
You will communicate with and assist clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other Citco offices worldwide, as well as assist auditors in case of audits performed on client companies;
About You :
You have accounting qualification and 8+ years of experience in an accounting position and 2+ years managing a team; exposure to tax driven structures is a definite advantage;
You have experience on preparing Consolidated Financial Statements;
You display strong financial / accounting and analytical skills;
You are commercially driven with a dynamic attitude and excellent communication skills (English and Spanish);
You have knowledge of IFRS, Spanish GAAP;
You have experience with and good knowledge of Private Equity & Real Estate investment structures (including SOCIMI’s);
Knowledge of Real Estate accounting systems (e.g. Yardi, MRI) is a plus but not a prerequisite;
