Front Office Specialist-19000A4N Our opportunity Investment Administration & Accounting (IAA) is a global serviceunit responsible for investment back office and accounting within the ZurichGroup.
We deliver to around 30 countries through a regional SLA based, sharedservice operating model with three dedicated client facing Centers ofExcellence in 3 continents.
With our 140 team members, we provide accounting& reporting service for local GAAP, Stat, Tax and Group IFRS - coveringapproximately 90% of Group’s Own Assets.
We endeavor to implement globallyconsistent accounting and operational procedures, provide quality services toinvestment management and finance teams, generate operating efficiencies, aswell as develop an agile organization.
The Front Office Specialist is responsible toact as the System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert for the Bloomberg AIM(Front Office System).
This includes the performance of the daily operationaltasks to ensure fully operational availability of Bloomberg AIM according toglobally defined standard and processes.
Furthermore, she / he is responsible tosupport the problem solving processes by managing the information flow betweenthe customer and Bloomberg.
Your role As a FrontOffice Specialist your main responsibilities will involve
Collaborate with projects, internalinitiatives and country specific customer demands by providing know how andexpertise covering financial topics as a subject matter expert and businessanalyst
Support the review of all monitoring &check processes to ensure a stable quality regarding system availability anddata quality
Process all data queries (including changerequest an enhancements) raised by end users and counterparties in a timelymanner
Maintenance of users, accounts(portfolios), Broker, transactions costs, benchmark and other static and marketdata in Bloomberg AIM
Set up customization of the Front OfficeSystem and the coordination with SAP FSCM and other downstream systems tosupport and enable straight through processing.
Monitor andmanage upgrades and enhancements within Bloomberg AIM enabling proper impactassessment on implemented workflow and processes.
Lead regular meetingswith users and other stakeholders to ensure collaboration by sharing ofknowledge and discussion of issues.
Maintain and enhance regional instrumentknow how also being able to analyze different scenarios regarding newinstrument requirements (in the project as well as the daily business context)to ensure offered services are meeting the client requirements.
Conduct all controls defined in the Zurichgovernance & control framework to ensure data quality and risk compliance.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Front Office Specialist yourskills and qualifications will ideally include :
Degree in Accounting, BusinessAdministration, Finance, Economics or Business Management
3-5 years’ of experience in therelated field
Solid knowledge of the InvestmentManagement including traditional and not traditional instrument
Good business analysis skills with theability to generate detailed business requirements
Solid knowledge of Investment Managementdata and interfaces and communication between front, middle and back officesystems
Data analysis skills with experiencefrom data mapping and integration
Be a good team worker as well asbeing self-driven and able to work and manage smaller project in isolation withminimal guidance and support
Good knowledge of financialmathematics
Good understanding of service anddata management concepts
Client focus mindset
Communication, negotiation andpresentation skills on good level
Fluent English in written and oral
