Senior Medical Advisor - Vaccines
Support brand strategies by implementation of local non-interventional studies, development and leverage of IIR opportunities, management of local advisory boards, interaction with local clinical investigators and other key activities
Provide high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information
Support and involvement in regional and international projects.
To communicate customer feedback on product development and life-cycle strategies
Support Medical Director in the leadership of the team, including coaching team members, sharing expertise, promoting the team internally, and working on initiatives that benefit the whole team
Provide medical / scientific input into the marketing plan (for nominated products) via full participation in XFT Team activities and sign off all marketing materials for medical correctness to ensure that the consumer is protected and Pfizer complies with the Code of Practice and Medicines Act and all regulations
Sales Support / Education
Participate in major events and provide direct support and training to the Sales force on medical matters relating to nominated products to ensure that sales opportunities are maximized.
Contact with opinion Leaders
Build and develop enduring peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive, cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to generate customer insights and leverage business opportunities
Assess the impact of all market feedback and data relating to drug safety (for nominated products) and ensure that appropriate medical recommendations are made or actions taken, to ensure that the consumer is protected and so that Pfizer complies with the requirements of regulatory bodies
Cross Divisional Working
Contribute to the work of cross functional product teams to facilitate a cohesive approach to the marketing and sales of Pfizer products.
MS Windows and MS Office user skills
An understanding of the compliance framework for medical interactions in relation to local regulation i.e SI 54, IPHA code of practice.
High degree of cross-functional collaboration, teamwork.
Ability to communicate clearly information and concepts which may be complex in nature.
Good understanding of the local healthcare environment at national and regional level.
Good knowledge of pharmacovigilance and regulatory legislation and how it impacts the product portfolio.
Good knowledge of drug development.
Excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience
Medical or postgraduate level science.
Fluent English spoken and written
More than 4 years of therapeutic area experience in vaccines into the pharmaceutical industry or public health department
