As Experience Architect you will be responsible for leading the creation of the LF Office experience roadmap and drive the business to deliver new meaningful end to end experiences to the different user segments belonging to the Large Format business.
The experience roadmap is created with a wide range of stakeholders from as well within the experience section, but also outside like Marketing, R&D and the service organization.
The experience roadmap illustrates a lighthouse for a specific user segment and breaks it down into waves of value that get delivered over time.
To achieve this, the Experience Architect must be mastering all skills of CX focused on content creation. This knowledge gets actively applied in co-creation with fellow designers, but also involving, sharing and educating non-design disciplines in research, workshops and design thinking.
The architect is on the forefront when it comes to be the drive the content of customer centred innovation and partners with key stakeholders to push innovation forward in the relevant direction.
S / he applies subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business / technical issues within established policies.
Opportunities are identified by obtaining a deep understanding of the target user which gets expressed in a user journey.
The journey will include multiple touchpoints that will be physical as well as digital. Together they must deliver a consistent user experience.
To be able to succeed, the experience architect must be able to inspire to team members to drive design direction, be engaging to get all stakeholders on board and be convincing to move the business forward in delivering meaningful experiences.

Key responsibilities :
Inspire & lead the experience design team to innovative opportunities that the LF business can offer
Perform in-depth user research to reveal new insights that lead to new opportunities for physical as well as digital touchpoints
Provide direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors creating user experience design solutions from primarily content creation point of view and secondary people development
Actively include stakeholders in the creation of roadmap opportunities, break-down in waves and overall experience roadmap maintenance
Provide status updates regarding experience roadmap to larger audiences and escalate when needed relevant issues
Define, launch and coordinate offcycles that will feed the experience roadmap including staffing and workload balancing
Ensure that programs deliver according the direction defined in the experience roadmap
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement
Education & Experience Required :
First level university, Bachelor's, or Master’s degree in Business, Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or equivalent experience required
Typically, 5 or more years of related work experience, including :
Design activities for digital as well as physical products
First hand experience in managing design teams
Relevant experience regarding stakeholder management with different business responsibilities
Knowledge & Skills :
Well embedded research skills to understand user behaviour, derive insights and define opportunities
Strong content envisioning skills illustrated by lighthouses and roadmap how to reach it
Demonstrable experience of designing physical as well as digital products using service design as foundation
Ability to build relationships based upon trust
Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, ability to influence others and conflict resolution
Ability to collaborate closely & influence design leaders cross geographies to drive innovation and deliver consistent user experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills (mastery in English required)
Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
For Experience Architect in LF Office :
Strong sensitivity for the perception of design that the target user has. Appealing aesthetics that have the right balance between appearance, functionality, usability and affordance
For Experience Architect in LF Graphics :
Strong instinct to balance between usability and technical complexity
