The Medical & Sales Affiliate Trainer is responsible for the training activities of all the Spanish affiliate :
Access needs of Medical, Sales & HR internal stakeholders
Deploy Learning Strategy, Training Plans and Materials for Portfolio, coach Field Teams
Ensures the right training activities are in place to deliver the best possible interactions with our customers
Assess the training needs of the different teams and designs solutions accordingly
Implements global initiatives and training programs in Biogen Spain
Ensures a smooth onboarding for new employees
Coordination and alignment with the HR department in the design and implementation of training actions at the affiliate level under the "Learning 70 20 10" strategy.
Designs, deploys and implements Training Plans :
Understands and diagnoses what the training needs are by working closely with all the in-field teams + office-based teams.
Cultivate scientific expertise necessary and partner with subject matter experts to implement and deploy cross-fct. learning initiatives across all therapeutic areas
Deploy learning strategies appropriate for field teams (e.g. e-learning modules, virtual training, workshops, face-to-face training) with a cross-fct. mindset
Demonstrate scientific / technical / strategic innovation, drawing on well-developed interdisciplinary knowledge when coaching field teams related to content and skills
Designs ad-hoc solutions to address the needs, targeted to each functional need.
Continuously works with the commercial (sales and marketing), market access and medical teams to embed call models and training practices along the year (cycle meetings, etc) Ensures in field team have the right materials and know how to manage them
Coordination with the HR department of the Learning 70 20 10 strategy : Identification of training needs that affect all levels of the affiliate.
Design with HR the strategy and training actions linked to Biogen's cultural development goals.
Review and administration of vendors for any action associated with the Learning 70 20 10 strategy, including vendor enrolment and contract management, working with the assistant and Contract Manager teams.
Logistics management of training courses.
Recommend internal training programs as well as e-learnings from Biogen learning tools (Biogen University, LinkedIn Learning.
to be shared through Learning 70 20 10 communications.
Management of the affiliate's English classes and their impact on the training plan (evolution and level’s test)
Design, together with HR, actions that promote innovation in Biogen España's learning methodology.
Designs and ensures implementation of the onboarding plan for new employees in Biogen Spain
Coordinates with all other departments the regular onboarding plans
Global Training programs :
Provide direction to Affiliate stakeholders to ensure that medical / commercial training programs / materials are aligned with product strategy and meet business objectives
Implements Global Programs ensuring alignment with overall Biogen Strategy
Contributes to the creation of Global programs that could support
Minimum Education Requirements
University Degree in Science
Degree in Business or Human Resources would be a plus
Languages : Spanish & English (Fluent)
Strong Excel, Power Point, Work Skills. Familiarity with databases.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Previous 3-5 years’ experience in training roles within the pharma industry
Self-autonomy to create solutions to identified issues
Proactivity in the generation of new ideas and projects
Influence to change behaviours
Strong communication skills to present to in field teams and Sr. Management
