The Segment Marketing Manager can work from any Ecolab facility in Europe (f / m / d) will support marketing initiatives within the F&B Division in Europe, supporting one or more product lines / programs or segments.

Within this role, you will contribute to profitable sales growth of business unit(s) by supporting the creation and implementation of strategies and plans that differentiate Ecolab from its competitors.

  • Your Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing and sales strategies for the dedicated product segment
  • Ensures an appropriate product mix and distribution channel for the customer segment in Europe to drive profitable growth
  • Drive the development of highly profitable programs also x-divisional
  • Execute timely and cost-efficient product launches in Europe in cooperation with the local marketing and sales functions
  • Permanently track regional / country performance against agreed targets and initiates corrective measures (action plan)
  • Create sales and cost targets, analyzes the monthly results (P&L review, sell out review etc.) and initiates corrective measures
  • Install and administers a knowledge bench with key data and trends (e.g. changes in customer behavior, market potential / market share, competitors’ activities, market innovations, opinion leaders, laws & regulations, market trends)
  • Help to generate and implement a segment reporting system in line with the division requirements
  • Drive projects to implement digital technology
  • Your Profile

  • Degree with Sales & Marketing background & commercial experience in the overall food & beverage manufacturing sector
  • 5 years+ of B2B marketing experience, including strategy, pipeline and pricing management.
  • Strong Business Acumen and ability to read financial metrics to drive appropriate actions out of them
  • Demonstrated experience in project management as well as ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on an international and virtual base
  • Analytical skills combined with an inquisitive nature, strong learning agility, and a proactive hands-on approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English required, other languages are beneficial
