Warranty Logistics Coordinator

Purpose of the Job

  • Achievement of contractual train availability ensuring total availability of materials on the warranty depots.
  • Ensure good communication between on-shore and off-shore teams and suppliers, to guarantee quick flow of materials.
  • Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the preparation of the Consignment stock lists to buy during the warranty period.
  • Launch Purchase Orders and agree with suppliers the Consignment stock and warranty spares to face the warranty activities carried out at the warranty depots.
  • Manage the stock of materials received off-shore in coordination with the external warehouse.
  • Coordinate with transportation suppliers all shipments overseas for the Consignment stock, warranty spares and repair loop.
  • Coordinate the needs of materials, tools and consumables for the warranty depots together with the Warranty Depot Manager.
  • Supervise the stock within the warranty depots and assure reliability of stock and availability.
  • Manage the repair loop of broken materials sent from the warranty depots to the supplier and coordinate with the supplier their repair and return to the warranty depots in the shortest time possible.
  • Interface with customs agents for all import activities.
  • Control of purchasing and logistics costs related to warranty activities, in line with the budget.
  • Collaborate with the Warranty Logistics Manager the implementation of new tools and ways of working to properly manage and monitor the warranty logistics activity.
  • Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business (Economics, Business administration).
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Previous experience in logistics / supply chain.
  • General knowledge in transports, customs and international trade.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • French will be valued.
