Gather and transform local market & consumer data into business insights to drive value within EMEA. Through the use of data analytics and data visualization, the main goal is to realize full data potential to (i) create the best fragrance market picture and (ii) define regional Sell Out / VMS objectives, acting as a vertical bridge through the organization (from Local Teams up to HQ top management) to communicate the most relevant market trends that support decision making with veracity and agility.

Responsibilities :

Main KPI’s / analysis : Market size, Fragrance Affinity, Market growth, Sell Out evolution, VMS, Rankings, Competitive positioning, New Launches performance, Seasonality (Black Friday & Xmas), Price & Promotion impact, Channel split ON / OFF, correlation Sell In vs Sell Out, Top retailer weight, Niche Top Doors (Unit per day), New brand acquisition impact.

  • Define data collection and processing procedures to gather Fragrances & Make Up data across all EMEA’s markets
  • Utilize company resources and standards to curate data
  • Analyze data to identify market / consumer trends and patterns
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports and share with the rest of Local Markets & HQ Top Management (Puig B&F President, EMEA’s VPs, GM’s and Marketing Directors)
  • Define market evolution forecasts as base for the 3Y plan
  • Coordinate with HQ Analytics department to implement same methodologies and share consolidated & curated data with them
  • Elevate specific regional research needs with HQ Consumer & Shopper Insights department while ensuring internal consumer knowledge reach all the regional teams
  • Foster best practices sharing / learnings
  • Perform data profiling to identify market anomalies
  • Finally ensuring that historical data is being correctly gathered, stored, and analyzed
  • Key point of contacts : EMEA’s Vice President (for data support), Marketing Directors, Global Functions for Analytics & Consumer Insights, NPD (Data Supplier).
  • Reporting directly to Regional Marketing & Retail General Manager

    Experience :

  • 3+ years of experience in analytical roles
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or similar
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Languages :

  • Spanish and English fluent.
