EMEA & APAC Comm. Operations Manager

Summary of the role

As the EMEA & APAC Commercial Operations Manager, you’ll lead the implementation of commercial governance : commercial policies, sales methodology / tools, and deal support process.

You’ll also support the commercial strategy and sales pipeline (business plan, commercial and transversal programs), and continue evolving and improving the CIT processes, especially but not limited to the Sales to Service.

The mission of Commercial Operations is to enable the Corporations segment salesforce to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.

In this role you’ll

1. Commercial Governance

Lead the implementation of the Commercial policies and materials : product catalogues, standard packaging, sizing calculation, pricing schemes

  • Lead the deal support process : With support of Commercial Finance, participate in the preparation of the commercial proposal and negotiation with the Sales teams and regions heads;
  • Business case review and escalation process and postmortem analysis.

    2. Commercial Strategy and Sales Pipeline

    Support and represent the region in its commercial strategy definition and execution

    Cascade targets setting at region / market level

    Support and represent the region in the annual business plan development

    Support the region head on sales pipeline : Analyze performance reports for the region / markets and provide insight based on pipeline

    Implementation of Sales Incentive Scheme (SIS)

    3. Process Improvement

    Provide feedback and best practices on the design and lead the implementation of Sales to Service methodology and tools

    Support the Sales Management Knowledge (i.e., Salesforce, product catalogue usage, economic offer)

    Lead the Contract to Collection process improvement (i.e., contract harmonization, billing, and collection improvement).

    Support and Implement any Business Efficiency projects in the region

    About the ideal candidate

    University degree, MBA an asset, or senior equivalent work experience in Business, Marketing or Economics

    6 years or more in sales, commercial, finance & controlling positions

    Background in the Travel Management & Expenses processes is an asset

    Knowledge of Amadeus fundamentals : history, business, offer, strategy, technology, and organization

    Microsoft Office; business analytics tools

    Proficient in English (both verbal and written); additional languages are a plus

    Sales methodologies / policies, Project management - Change management methodologies
