Job Purpose :
The Cloud Systems & Services team is responsible for the vendor purchasing, credit monitoring and billing process of their assigned vendors.
This includes offering shared services through Tech Data owned Shared Service Center outsourced to service partners.
An important role or this specialist will be to design, implement, and own on an ongoing basis a scalable central billing and monitoring service aligned to Tech Data’s platform offerings as well as applicable Cloud Vendors.
The specialist will work closely with Vendors and Tech Data Country sales teams to ensure appropriate service levels are provided to Super Users, End Users, and Customers.
Responsible for the end to end billing process for assigned vendors.
Ensure billing accuracy and execution.
Assist Partners and Business Units Leaders in billing queries.
Continuously develop and improve billing processes to accommodate vendor changes.
Actively participate with project team as billing expert to aid in the design and implementation of new processes and systems.
Manage and escalate the billing support relationship with vendors.
Ensure appropriate training and self actualization of skills for all staff for new offerings
Manage constant communication with countries and other stakeholders around processes. This includes management of escalations
Appropriate consultation with management around new courses of actions and design
Take decisions with business interests and profitability impacts in mind
Manage an offshore team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Solid understanding of eCommerce
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in delivering cost impact analysis.
An out of the box thinking mentality
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual (ownership)
Advance level of Microsoft Excel.
Comfortable working in an international results driven project organisation.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Project Experience of Software Licensing, Support, or Customer Service functions definite advantage. Understanding of the IT Software / Services / SaaS industry are helpful
Experience in managing distant or virtual teams in a service desk environment preferred.
IT Channel experience, preferably in TD, IM, other Pan European distributors or Software vendor are a definite advantage
College diploma or university degree in the field Business Administration, Economics, or related field and / or 3 years staff management experience.
Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills in English language, additional European languages being a plus.
Ability and Willingness for business travel is required.
Intercultural experience is a plus
Occasionally travel within Europe.
